With a little creativity, it is possible to set up small-scale vegetable gardens on a terrace, balcony or patio. In addition, if we use <strong>local varieties<\/strong>, we ensure that the plants are well adapted to our climate and we promote agricultural biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#039;s everything you light<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunlight is key to the success of your garden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"line-height:2\"><strong>Direct sun<\/strong> (minimum 5-6 h\/day): parsley.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> observe the path of the sun throughout the day and take advantage of the walls facing south or southeast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udeb4 2. <strong>Containers and vessels: everything can be a flowerpot<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can reuse almost any container, as long as it has <strong>drainage<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"line-height:2\">Clay pots, planters, fruit boxes, old buckets or growing bags.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:2\">For plants with deep roots (like tomato plants or carrots), use containers of at least <strong>30 cm deep<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"line-height:2\">For watering, use saucers under the pots to prevent water from being lost too quickly, but empty them if it rains a lot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf31 3. <strong>The substrate: the heart of your garden<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the culture is in containers, a substrate is needed <strong>light, rich and with good water retention<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li
