The "Pelut o pell de melicotó" melon it is a round, dark green melon with hairy skin. Loose texture and white paste, tasty and juicy. It has poor post-harvest preservation.
When and how is it sown?
Yes sowing from mid-April to the end of May, and is harvested between September and October. The sowing distance is 50-80 cm between plants, and 1 m between rows. If it is done in the dry season, it is advisable to leave about 1.8 m between rows.
